Jones IT started in a garage in 2002. Two decades later, we're still family-owned, we still have boots on the ground, and we're SOC 2, ISO 27001, and HIPAA compliant for the businesses that need us to be. Here's how we got here.
2002
The Beginning
Founded in 2002 by Evan Jones, Jones IT started as a hands-on, two-person operation in San Francisco. That hands-on approach: one dedicated team, no outsourcing, no call center, is still how we work today.
2025
The Whole Building
Jones IT spent years growing out of a penthouse suite on Cesar Chavez St. In 2025, we moved into 1370 Harrison St; not just an office, but the entire building. Same team-based model, same hands-on approach, a much larger team and a lot more room behind it.

Jones IT has now supported 1,000+ businesses across San Francisco, the Bay Area, and San Jose, from early-stage startups to companies under SOC 2, ISO 27001, and HIPAA compliance requirements. We're still 100% family-owned and operated, and every client still gets a dedicated team; not rotating helpdesk agents.

Our headquarters is located at 1370 Harrison St in the SoMa district of San Francisco.
We're based in the heart of SoMa, minutes from most of the startups, fintechs, and enterprises we support; plus quick access to the rest of San Francisco, the Bay Area, and San Jose. Being local means faster on-site response when you need us in person, and a team that knows the Bay Area business landscape because we work in it every day.
It's also a good neighborhood to be in, with creative studios, tech companies, and no shortage of good coffee within walking distance.
